Director, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Dr. Kubota is an ophthalmologist and CEO of Kubota Pharmaceutical Holdings. Graduated from Keio University School of Medicine. After working at Toranomon Hospital, he served as a faculty member at the University of Washington School of Medicine. In 2002, he founded Kubota Vision Inc. in Seattle, WA, dedicated to preventing blindness globally.  He was a visiting professor at Keio University School of Medicine and was appointed as NASA's Human Research Program Investigator. He is also the author of “Myopia is a Disease” (Toyo Keizai).

Wang Yen Po（Peter） is a seasoned biomedical engineering leader with deep expertise in the development of neuromodulation systems. With other 8 years of research and industry experience, he has led end-to-end development from early R&D to animal and clinical studies. He is also the core inventor of 8 patents (as of 2025) focusing on wireless power transfer, smart algorithms and system integration for implant medical technologies. 
Wang Yen Po holds Ph.D in Human Engineering from The University of Tokyo, worked for BOSCH, BE Health Ventures, and now as Co-founder and CTO at INOPASE.

An alumnus of Harvard Business School (PLD 2013), he was appointed as a visiting professor at a national university in Japan at the remarkably young age of 33 to teach entrepreneurship — a rare and exceptional honor in Japan.

As CEO of Silicon Valley Ventures, he empowers fast-growing startups, multinational corporations, family offices, venture capitals, CVCs, accelerators, universities, and government agencies worldwide.

In addition, John has spent over a decade in the healthcare sector, serving as an executive of a medical device distribution company and as an advisor to medtech venture capital firms, contributing to the advancement of global healthcare innovation.
